I hate termites

Most books in my interior home have been placed inside zip-lock bags for protection. After 8 months, this is the effect of one book that was not placed in a bag.

It looks as if the termites had a feast over that book! It happened to my old, stocked documents too. It’s depressing to see my notes and treasured written memories all torn up. From then on, I made it a habit to apply termite repellants on everything that may be a possible target of a termite colony.

To keep termites from damaging your books, always dust all your books and clean the storage area. Also, you put moth balls where you usually see the termites. These help protect your books from termites and other bugs. Finally, do not forget to separate the damaged books because these might harm the other books.

Aaww, poor thing! And for that, I hate termites as well. It’s a good thing you were able to place the rest in the bags. Take care though because molds may form inside the bag. To avoid them, you can throw in some of those humidity-sucking pouches you usually find when you buy a new pair of shoes.
