Big Brother and his achievements

The Peanut now can build towers even taller than him (he is standing up in the picture). And he can flex his muscles too.

Local services

These are services held at two different locations interior.

A local feast

To honor our coming, a feast was prepared in one village. Bananas, local sugar cane, potatoes and even pig wrapped in leaves and cooked in a hole in the ground.

Many creepy crawly things live in the jungle

This one is a definite non-poisonous green ground boa.

Tribal peoples

The beehive that I discovered on the trail

They discovered me too! At least 10 of them got up close and personal.

Sittin' Around

When not trekking on survey you do a lot of sitting. And due to lack of privacy, I always bring a book and take a few minutes every day to read. It gives me some mental privacy at least. It makes my rucksack heavier...but a man's gotta read!

Probably future swimming hole for my son

Clean water, no crocs, very little current and belly deep on him...
