The sermon was on the woman who poured oil on Jesus' feet.
The tithe was fish and yams.
And then we prayed for the sick after the service (and told the kid with the cut foot that plastic didn't make the best bandage to keep the wound clean and dry).
We are a family living in remote jungle in SE Asia among a tribal group.
My wife is an R.N. and I am too. We have been trained in linguistics as well, and I am a pastor.
“For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.” (Luke 12:48)
God has blessed us much; therefore we desire to be a blessing.
Pray for us as we strive to aid this tribal group both physically and spiritually with efforts geared towards the improvement of health, education and the spiritual welfare of the people.
